In this new role, you will have the opportunity to interact with all levels of the management team and employees across the Business, offering advice and support in areas such as employee training and development, succession, apprentice and graduate development, recruitment, welfare and general employee relations (including grievance and disciplinary).
Working in a small team you will directly influence the reputation and profile of HR & Training and therefore must have the presence and personality to engage with others through a confident and self managing approach to work. In this generalist role, your proven HR & Training experience will allow you to support the Company’s people strategies, allowing you to adopt a creative and innovative approach in areas such as recruitment, induction, personal development and skills training.
Ideally CIPD qualified (or with equivalent experience), you will need to be a powerful communicator with strong advisory skills, able to present facts and information both verbally and in writing. With an excellent background and appreciation of employment law as well as experience of working in a large complex organisation, you will also understand training and development processes and be comfortable liaising with external training organisations as well as a diverse group of training providers. A full Driving License is essential for this role as some local travel will be required.
