Salix Homes is a new ALMO for Central Salford, part of Greater Manchester. As well as the traditional housing management function, Salix Homes also leads on housing regeneration and renewal in the area on behalf of the Salford City Council, aiming to create stronger neighbourhoods with a genuine tenure blind approach.
This is an ideal position for a HR Advisor keen to increase their level of responsibility and gain exposure to a comprehensive range of HR issues. As our HR Advisor you will work as part of a small team reporting to the HR and Training Manager and be responsible for a HR and Training Officer. Your role will involve providing a comprehensive and proactive HR business partnering service. You will help identify and act upon the people implications of our business plan and act as a coach and advisor on people issues to our management team.
You must be able to collaborate with people at all job levels, interact with a diverse group of individuals and personalities and be self-motivated and directed, as well as able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
This opportunity is initially offered as a fixed term contract until 31st March 2009. As our HR Advisor you will be either fully or part CIPD qualified, have sound knowledge of UK Employment law, have previous experience at HR Advisor level.
