This toolkit does everything it says on the label, with the authors clearly demonstrating their coaching knowledge and practical experience.
The material divides into three parts: developing a coaching programme, a coach training course and a coach’s toolkit. It covers key questions to address when building the business case for coaching: strategic issues (benefits, goals, added value); operational issues (responsibilities, costs, the process, including an excellent overview of a manager’s perspective on coaching); and outcomes (individual and organisational). The drivers of coaching’s popularity are outlined, and a few myths and truths are clarified.
