Congratulations! The personal development plan you enthusiastically signed up to three years ago is complete. You feel full of all the good things you learnt on your journey. You have managed to juggle your job, dissertations and reading and somehow still have a home life.
Now for the critical question – do you feel you can now do more in your role? Or are you restlessly looking to move on?
There may be no clear answer. But there should be. Getting expectations straight between you and your employer matters, as any difference can undermine all the good stuff you learnt.
