Absence has been reduced by three-quarters after launching a preventative health drive
Credit card provider Capital One has slashed absence by three-quarters and saved £500,000 after reforming its sickness policies and launching a preventative health drive.

The Nottingham-based firm – which has about 1,000 staff – started the “Health Matters” programme last summer, after absence rates in its call centre reached 20 per cent. It is now 5 per cent.
