Measuring human capital effectively has helped Haringey Council to make efficiencies and “put HR issues on the same footing as financial issues”, according to Steve Davies, head of HR.

Davies told PM that human capital measurement was not just about measuring a person’s performance, but about “how effective our organisation is at managing people performance on a whole host of issues, such as sickness rates and keeping agency worker costs down”.
