Following a recent debate with Jim Knight, schools minister, at a CIPD public policy breakfast, the CIPD is inviting member feedback on the employability of young people via a short survey on the public policy area of the institute’s website.
It includes questions on the proposed diploma for 14-19-year-olds, apprenticeships and basic skills. Conclusions drawn from the debate and survey will go to the minister and Chris Humphries, chief executive of the UK Commission for Employment and Skills.
