Finders keepers

Google has built its success as a search engine on the simple exterior that it presents to the world; its mass of clever workings hidden from view. From the outside at least, its London offices share something of the same quality. They’re housed in a plain building that’s easy to miss, but there’s undoubtedly a lot of clever stuff going on inside.

Google has become something of a legend for employee perks. Many stories circulate about Google the employer: it has a slide in the workplace (false, in London anyway); employees bring their dogs (false) and children (sometimes true) into the office; and staff get free food (true).
