This is the first in a new series of training DVDs from the CIPD that is being launched at the CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition. Author and series consultant Terry Gillen is delivering a showcase session on “Turning appraisal into a vital management tool” at the exhibition.

The format of the interactive DVD is designed to enable learners to select key messages in bite-sized chunks. In simulated appraisal meetings, actors illustrate learning points in short video slots of up to seven minutes.
