Pimlico Plumbers is carrying out background checks on all its new recruits.
The firm, which has 100 engineers and 50 office-based staff, wants all employees to be subject to the basic disclosure check through specialists BackCheck, which picks up criminal offences as well as verifying an applicant’s CV and entitlement to work in the UK.
