Further strikes are expected to hit the public sector this year, with 51 per cent of organisations anticipating industrial action from their staff, CIPD research has revealed.

This compares with 28 per cent of private-sector firms believing their workers may take action, the CIPD Employment Relations survey of more than 850 employers showed.
