The number of employees working flexibly has risen sharply over the past four years, according to the latest CBI/Pertemps emp-loyment trends survey.
The survey of 513 employers found that almost half (46 per cent) now allow their employees to telework, up from
14 per cent two years ago and 11 per cent in 2004. The popularity of term-time working and job sharing has also increased dramatically.
