Since leaving the chief executive’s chair of GCap in June, when the radio group was finally sold to Global Media, Frances Hazlitt, universally known as Fru, has been unemployed.
Two months into not living “at 150 miles per hour”, she is finding life in the slow lane harder than expected. “I always thought I was disciplined and organised, but I’ve realised that it was never me. It was my PAs. And now I’m having to learn to be completely self-sufficient.”
