‘Work is good for us all’

The government has proposed one of the most radical reforms of the welfare system in its 60-year history in the No One Written Off: Reforming Welfare to Reward Responsibility green paper.

At the same time, the changes will take us back to the heart of why the welfare state was set up – to help people to flourish and to live independent and fulfilled lives.
