Draft ‘well note’ fit for HR but not for doctors

The draft version of the new “well note” has been welcomed by HR professionals, but doctors are concerned about the practicalities, PM has learnt.

The reformed note – or FMed3 certificate – allows doctors to say whether patients are fit for work, or fit for some work. It also allows GPs to suggest changes to work or hours.
