Firms innovate in their products and services – but they don’t when it comes to people

Employers are failing to introduce innovative management techniques, despite recognising their importance, CIPD research has shown.
Less than a quarter of 500 senior managers surveyed by MLab (London Business School’s Management Innovation Lab) said their organisations gave much consideration to management innovation. But 65 per cent said their companies gave a high level of attention to product or service innovation.
