Actually called “The Incorporated Trustees of the National Council for Ageing (Age Concern England) v Secretary of State for BERR”, this case challenges the retirement age of 65 and other areas of the UK’s age discrimination regulations. The ECJ advocate-general says having a retirement age is potentially discriminatory but could be objectively justifiable.
