The standard of HR in law firms still lags behind accountancy and other professional services firms, delegates were told.
Charlie Keeling, HR director of City law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse, said that while professional services firms had gone through “a magnificent transformation in the past decade” and HR had moved from “being fairly backward to the forefront now”, legal firms were “not quite there yet”.
