Maternity benefits extended

Employees on maternity leave are now entitled to the full range of company benefits throughout their leave, following a law change that came into force on October 5.

Previously, employees on leave were only covered by the full terms and conditions of employment during the first 26 weeks of their leave period, but this has now been extended for the full period of leave up to the maximum of 52 weeks.
