Time to test redundancy selection criteria to see if it’s age discriminatory
With the spectre of redundancies looming over most organisations, age discrimination is likely to play a prominent part in the future as employees challenge otherwise well-established processes.
Redundancy selection criteria that worked in the past, such as length of service, now need to be reassessed to ensure they are not tainted by age discrimination.
