This is an exploratory study by the Kingston Business School Employee Engagement Consortium, building on research by the Kingston Business School for the CIPD into employee engagement in the UK. We wanted to find out how engaged employees are in different sectors and what are the key barriers and enablers of engagement.
MethodologyCase study research in 10 organisations from different sectors. We are part way through the project, and this paper reports on findings from the first four organisations: a large government department, a local authority, a manufacturing firm and consultancy, and a construction company.
