Firms urged to join Deloitte skills pledge

Deloitte is urging firms to sign its “employability skills pledge” to improve workplace skills among young people.The professional services firm wants companies to support its corporate social responsibility initiative, which provides funding for 16- to 19-year-olds to learn skills such as time management and communication. Deloitte is calling on firms to commit to offer interviews to graduates of the Employability Initiative, into which it has invested £2.6 million.
