Employers are increasingly seeking ways to address the expectation that business should act responsibly. The relationship between business and the voluntary sector has moved from asking for and donating money to seeing the value in forming strategic partnerships that benefit all parties involved.
Companies with employer supported volunteering programmes (ESVPs) find that existing staff are proud to work for them, potential staff want to join them, and customers feel good about using them.
