Jobhunting made difficult
Two factors are conspiring against jobseekers – recruitment agencies and Jobcentre Plus. Having been made redundant and being obliged to look for a job for the second time in a decade, I want to share my experience.
Regarding agencies: they show no customer service or basic courtesy. I put much effort into tailoring my CV to each opportunity, only to be given a bland, unhelpful and standard rejection, if any response at all.
