CIPD must be bold and independent, says new chair
The incoming chair of the CIPD executive board believes the institute must be bold and independent in thought and action. Dean Royles, the director of workforce and education at NHS Northwest, who takes over the role of chair tomorrow (1 May), told PM: “The challenge we face now is to demonstrate the true value of HR, [that of] building sustainable organisations for the future.”
