Learning professionals “not innovative enough” in e-learning
Learning and development specialists “are not doing enough to innovate”, particularly in the field of e-learning, HRD conference delegates were told.
Charles Jennings, former global head of learning at Thomson Reuters and now an independent consultant, was commenting on data from the CIPD’s 2009 Learning and development survey, showing that fewer practitioners (39 per cent) are involved in “introducing or extending e-learning” this year, a fall of 6 per cent on 2008.
