Bilateral talks could hold key for Irish pay deal
The employers’ body, Ibec, has offered bilateral talks with the unions on a new national pay agreement for Ireland.
In a letter to trade union body Ictu, the outgoing director general of IBEC, Turlough O’Sullivan, said that some type of accommodation on private sector pay is desirable in the current economic climate.
