Financial skills body under threat
The financial services sector skills council has vowed to turn around its performance after being threatened with closure by the government.
The Financial Services Skills Council (FSSC) was criticised for poor strategic planning and employer engagement by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES), which is currently leading reviews into the effectiveness of all 25 sector skills councils (SSCs).
