Many happy returns?
The CIPD is looking for people to take part in research exploring the behaviours needed by line managers to support employees returning to work after long-term sick leave.The institute has already held two workshops for HR professionals as part of this project. In these sessions participants discussed issues including the line manager behaviours that facilitate employees’ return to work and those that act as barriers, how to improve current practice and the impact of the economic climate on organisations’ return-to-work policies.
