"Hopeless” is a word often associated with men and their health – on the face of it at least – with a fair amount of justification. Health and wellness experts reel off statistics proving ways in which modern life is deadlier to the male than the female of the species.“Men tend to do far worse than women not only in terms of life expectancy but in terms of the early onset of most serious conditions,” says Peter Baker, chief executive of the Men’s Health Forum, which dedicated its last Men’s Health Week to health at work.
