A secure network

Peter Bradwell and Richard Reeves’s article “Mend the gap” (23 April) provides interesting commentary on how people organise themselves into social networks and the relevance of this to organisational success in tough economic times. However, missing from the article was an acknowledgement of the practical difficulties of tapping into such social networks, and the role of HR in all this.
