New advice draws on research to offer tips for managing in difficult situations

The CIPD has produced new guidance to help managers to tackle increased levels of stress as a result of the recession.
Line Management Behaviour and Stress at Work gives advice for managers who are increasingly having to deal with stressed-out team members. The guide gives details of a four-year research project on stress at work and includes tips on communicating in difficult situations and managing individuals’ emotions.
