How to... deliver effective inductions
The purpose of induction training is to welcome new employees and provide them with the information and skills that they will need to carry out their role and to contribute to the organisation’s objectives. There are numerous benefits to getting this right. It reduces newcomers’ anxiety about their new job, making their transition to the new work environment easier. This in turn leads to increased commitment, lowering turnover and thereby reducing recruitment costs.
