A dedicated networking website helps graduate entrants at HSBC make contacts and share information before they start at the company, PM has learnt.

This year’s crop of graduates are the first to have access to a web-based “green room” where they can be introduced to each other, their future colleagues and the firm as a whole. The site can also be used by young people who have completed internships, to keep in touch with the bank while they finish their studies, John Morewood, senior graduate recruitment and development manager, said.
