Minimum wage law has rendered the system obsolete, claims Ibec

The Irish Business and Employers Confederation (Ibec) has urged the government to abolish the joint labour committee (JLC) system, which sets minimum wages and conditions in low-paying industries such as hospitality, security, catering and cleaning.
