Tonight – Pay Drop Britain

Asking the question, “Would you take a wage cut to keep your job?”, Pay Drop Britain examined the human side of alternatives to redundancy.

The programme followed two decorators, Steve Theodoulou and Tim O’Connor, after they were told by their employer Homeserve Property Repairs to sign a contract cutting their pay by 20 per cent – amounting to £5,000 per year – or face dismissal.
