Welch criticises US government’s ‘meddling’ in banks

The US government is taking on too much and moving too hastily in response to the recession, business guru Jack Welch has said.

Speaking at the annual Society for HR Management (SHRM) conference in New Orleans, the former chair and CEO of General Electric said that the speed and magnitude with which President Obama was addressing the economic challenges posed by the recession was “crazy”.
