BT offers staff sabbaticals from work to beat recession
BT is reducing its people costs with a pilot offering staff sabbaticals of up to a year to be paid at 25 per cent of their salary.
The HR-led pilot, among other flexible working options offered under the firm’s Time Out package, is an attempt to stem company losses of £1.3bn reported for the first quarter of 2009.
