Progress on equality has been made, but there remains 'much to do'
The recent equality bill was a missed opportunity to get tough on closing the pay gap, experts said at an event organised by equality charity the Wainwright Trust. Baroness Margaret Prosser, deputy chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, said she was “disappointed” but praised the bill for combining all the equality strands.
