Grant Thornton sets up staff forum as tough times call for transfer of skills
A major retraining and redeployment programme is helping Grant Thornton to respond to dramatic changes in demand for its different services due to the recession.Sacha Romanovitch, head of HR at the financial services firm, said that the past year had seen some work for corporate finance specialists dry up, but also an increase in demand for other skills, such as corporate recovery and restructuring. This meant that internal redeployment was currently an HR priority for the firm.
