HR stands by retirement ages despite doubts

Eighty-five per cent of HR professionals still operate a mandatory retirement age (MRA), although many admit it has drawbacks, research has shown. Almost two-thirds agreed that MRAs can result in a loss of valuable talent, a survey by the Age and Employment Network and the Employers Forum on Age found.
