More than 400 CIPD course tutors, examiners and moderators participated in last month’s Centres’ Conference in Nottingham, where the CIPD shared developments on proposed changes to qualifications, membership criteria and assessment. This year’s conference was set against a backdrop of major change in HR, reflected in its title, “Building current and future capability of the profession”. It was an opportunity for delegates to discuss and give feedback on the next steps for centres as they prepare for the practicalities of delivering programmes based on the new qualifications framework and get to grips with transitional arrangements during 2010-11.
