Institute helpline receives steady number of calls for advice

High redundancy rates will continue into the second half of 2009, data from the CIPD’s legal helpline has suggested.
The number of HR professionals calling the helpline for redundancy policy advice changed little between the first and second quarters of 2009, rebuffing the idea of a slowdown in the overall number of job losses.
