Seeing qualifications in a new light

An important element of the conference was the opportunity to hear the background to the new qualifications and membership strategy in the light of the CIPD’s extensive research and the development of the HR profession map.Sue Upton, marketing and membership director, and Debbie John, professional development manager, outlined the latest developments, which became the subject of discussion by delegates at group sessions. Upton said: “We want to remove barriers and introduce greater flexibility and relevance – but it is important to retain high standards.”
