FSA publishes new pay code for bankers
The financial services regulator has published a new code of practice on City pay in an attempt to crack down on remuneration packages that encourage risky behaviour.
The FSA, which is the first regulator around the world to take supervisory action on pay, has narrowed the scope of the code from its draft form, which was considered by many UK banks as too prescriptive.
