Christian bookshop workers win case

Workers at a Christian bookshop chain have won compensation after they were sacked, many by email, by the company’s new American owners. The 32 staff worked for 10 SPCK bookshops, which were taken over by the US-based St Stephen the Great Charitable Trust (SSG) in 2006.
