Coaches need supervision too

The explosion of performance coaching over the past decade has produced a body of fledgling coaches. For businesses, finding accredited coaches has been the first challenge, followed by the need to develop good-quality internal coaches.A proper supervision process is what is needed now. Too often, coaches operate on autopilot, reverting to approaches that have worked well for years. But tough economic conditions call for a flexible approach. Coaches must become agile if they expect the people they are coaching to do start doing things differently. And they need trusted supervisors to understand their strengths and recognise areas for improvement.
