Baby classes at Microsoft help retain female talent

On-site antenatal and postnatal classes are helping Microsoft to retain talented female employees, PM has learnt. For the past two years, the technology giant has been running a “bump club” to support pregnant employees and a “bump to balance club” for new mums who are returning to work. Mums-to-be are given classes on breastfeeding and postnatal life, run by the parenting charity NCT, while female returners are offered coaching and monthly lunchtime sessions on topics ranging from nutrition to first aid for children.
