How to... spot executive failure
It is easy to overlook how exhausting being in the public eye can become for executives, especially during difficult times. They are expected to know what to do and to be faultless in their decision-making in often confusing business situations. Such unrealistic expectations generate unnecessary pressure on already challenging roles.HR professionals need to be alert to managerial behaviour that might indicate impending executive failure, such as erratic behaviour, extreme mood swings and acting out of character.
