West Berkshire Council pioneers engagement study in schools

A new survey for schools in West Berkshire has shown a link between pupil performance and staff engagement.
The local authority’s highest performing schools had the best results in the staff survey, which was introduced for the first time last year, and actions taken in response will help poor schools perform better in league tables, Lisa Poole, HR co-ordinator for schools at West Berkshire Council, told PM.
